Medical Missions in India: We Are Recruiting Volunteer Healthcare Professionals
Our association is currently preparing its upcoming medical missions to Bodhgaya, India, where we work in particularly underprivileged rural communities.
As part of this humanitarian initiative, we are recruiting volunteer doctor and nurse teams who wish to dedicate their skills, experience, and expertise to supporting local populations in need.
The missions will take place from November 2026 to February 2027. Several teams will rotate throughout this period to ensure a continuous presence on the ground and provide much-needed medical care to local residents.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our retired healthcare professionals, who today represent a significant part of our volunteer network. Their commitment is an invaluable asset to our association. Availability, experience, adaptability, and a strong sense of service are qualities that greatly contribute to the success of our humanitarian missions.
As recently highlighted by an article in Le Quotidien du Médecin, stepping away from a career dedicated to caring for others is not always easy for healthcare professionals. Medicine is more than just a profession; it shapes identity, daily life, human relationships, and a deep sense of purpose.
The article also emphasized the importance of passing on knowledge and building a lasting legacy through mentoring younger colleagues, participating in academic projects, or engaging in humanitarian work.
This is precisely what our missions in India make possible: continuing to serve in a different way, sharing valuable expertise, and providing meaningful support to communities that need it most.
So, to our fellow doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals, if you would like to take part in an exceptional human and medical experience, we would be delighted to welcome you to our upcoming missions in Bodhgaya.
